I’ve heard of late season storm cycles, but this is getting a little ridiculous. 29″ of new snow has fallen on Jackson in the past 72 hours, bringing this year’s total season snowfall just short of 500″ at 481″ although it’s looking like we’ll surpass the 500″ mark with snow in the forecast through Sunday, the last day of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort’s winter season. If you’re still jonsing for powder after Sunday, head on over to Grand Targhee. The Idaho side of things is reporting 12″ of new snow this morning.
